The quality of customer support was particularly important to Thomas Burkhardt – both before and after the purchase. The tiltrotator professional went into the selection process with a very precise specification of his tiltrotator configuration and some special requests, including a modified grab module, five hydraulic connections and a variable oil supply, even for oil-hungry attachments. Thomas Burkhardt also attached great importance to fast response times and good spare parts availability in the event of repairs.

THE SOLUTION
TILTROTATORWITH “HIGH FLOW ”
As the manufacturer of his previous tiltrotator was unable to meet all his technical requirements, Thomas Burkhardt looked around for alternatives and became aware of the new OilQuick tiltrotators.
“After a personal consultation including a factory tour in Steindorf, it was clear that the new excavator would be fitted with an OilQuick tiltrotator – in the high-flow version, with five hydraulic connections and a customized multi-gripper. The decisive factor was the great commitment of the OilQuick team. I always found an open ear for my wishes and never once heard “not possible”, quite the opposite. In most cases, an initial solution proposal was on the table after just a few days. Impressive!”
As with his excavator predecessor, Thomas Burkhardt once again opted for a fixed attachment, as he benefits from the tilt and rotation function in almost all of his work steps.

THE NEW TILTROTATOR STANDARD
He also no longer wants to do without the new Zero Degree Technology: The rotation plane of the OilQuick tiltrotator is not inclined by 6 degrees, as is the case with conventional tiltrotators on the market, but runs parallel. This means that attachments no longer wobble when rotating. Thomas Burkhardt says: “I had already worked with a tiltrotator before, but the zero-degree standard really makes a noticeable difference in handling. Whether pallet forks or levelling beams – I no longer have to correct the wobbling movement via the cylinders.”

Technology enthusiast Thomas Burkhardt is now also part of the OilQuick community and was present at the bauma 2022 trade fair stand as a tiltrotator demonstrator. What he personally would like from the OilQuick designers: A mini tiltrotator for his smallest excavator would make his machine park perfect.
