OilQuick relaunch wins ICMA and GDA 2022 awards
Double honor: The brand relaunch of OilQuick Deutschland KG was awarded the International Creative Media Award (ICMA) in the “Brand Identities” category and the German Design Award in the “Brand Identity” category for “Excellent Communications Design”. The project was implemented by the international brand identity agency trumedia from Augsburg. More than 400 projects from 20 countries were submitted for the ICMA, which was awarded for the 12th time this year. The German Design Award, one of the world’s most recognized international design prizes, has been presented for ten years now. In 2022, the international jury of experts evaluated over 4,500 submissions from 63 countries. With this award, the OilQuick relaunch joins the ranks of award-winning projects from global brands such as Bahlsen, Hercules, Severin and Vodafone.
OILQUICK IS EUROTEST PRIZE DOUBLE WINNER
BG BAU presented the EuroTest Award 2022 on October 25, 2022 as part of the 33rd “bauma” world’s leading trade fair in Munich. The prize was awarded to four companies that impressed with their developments for more technical occupational safety and product safety.
The EuroTest cooperation is a pioneer for harmonized safety-related processes and requirements in the field of product safety. This year, four winners were selected from a total of 34 applications by an expert jury in an extensive evaluation process. The jury is made up of members of international testing institutes as well as representatives of universities, construction industry associations and the BG BAU.

OilQuick is refining its visual identity with a comprehensive brand relaunch. The new look symbolises the continuous development of the company and of its product portfolio, with the brand’s premium standards now also reflected in its own external image. “We want to offer our customers the best analogue and digital brand experience possible – in terms of our products, our service and in terms of how the OilQuick brand is perceived,” explains Managing Director Franz Josef Schauer. “In everything we do, we aim to surpass the status quo a little bit.” Managing Director Brigitte Schauer adds: “Innovation, efficiency and quality are important values which distinguish us. The design upgrade highlights these strong points even more and brings our brand essence to life with a contemporary look and feel.”
